Environmental Commitment

When it comes to running our company, we're constantly looking for ways to minimize our environmental impact. We value being as efficient as possible in everything we do, from powering our offices, to travel planning, to communicating with clients. Whether it’s choosing environmentally friendly office locations or implementing an in-house recycling program, we’re committed to reducing the environmental impact of running our operations worldwide. That means the overall environmental impact from our company and the services we provide is lower.

Riding > Driving

We’ve strategically located both our Dallas and Hong Kong offices within walking distance to each city’s public transit system. By riding instead of driving, commuters not only help the environment, they also limit wear and tear on their cars, lower auto expenses and eliminate the stress of stop-and-go driving. By bus or by train, mass transit is a greener way to go. For example, the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) system trains have the same emissions as a golf cart. City buses use 8.7% less energy per passenger mile than a typical car, while a train uses up to 23.7% less. Mass transit also makes for more green in the wallet. According to the American Public Transit Association, the typical household using public transit saves more than $9,000 USD per year.

Cutting the Commute

By allowing many team members to be completely or partially home-based, In many instances, we’ve cut the daily commute altogether – thus reducing their and our environmental impact. TelCoa notes that if 32 million Americans who could work from home did so at least one day a week, 74 million gallons of gas could be saved – enough go around the globe 51,000 times.

Paperless Paperwork

From internal expense reporting, to customer invoicing, to report distribution, we make every effort to save a print job whenever possible. And when we do have to print, it’s always on 30% post consumer recycled content and meets global standards for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC ensures responsible use of forest resources and provides assurance that paper comes from forests that are well-managed to protect biodiversity and the livelihoods of the people that depend on those forests.
